Reflexion (Paz Total)

You watched until a stone was cut without the help of hands, and struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay, and crushed them. Daniel 2:34.

The parts of the statue seen by King Nebuchadnezzar were or meant stages of the different kingdoms of the earth, from the time of the king until our days, and even to the future, the amazing thing about the king’s vision was that it not only ended with the statue, but after the statue stands strenuously in its own power, a stone, not cut with a hand, rolls against the statue, to which it strikes at the weakest part the mixed mud and iron feet and the whole statue it falls to the ground and is crushed and pulverized, however the stone becomes a great mountain or kingdom for ever and ever. That is to say that the prophecy that the king and Daniel received not only covered our human stage but even the rock represents the kingdom of God that at the end of time will end all the kingdoms of the world and establish an eternal kingdom that will never be removed. God declared to the prophet Daniel that he would destroy all these earthly kingdoms and establish a new kingdom led by him, and to confirm that vision he gave another vision with the same stages but in a different way. And in his second vision Daniel saw four frightful beasts symbolizing the same stages of the earthly kingdoms. A lion, a bear, a leopard and a frightful beast, just as in the other vision, each symbol represented a different kingdom, and the vision takes greater pains to present the fourth kingdom or power, which would be represented by the Roman Empire. In short, the golden head and the image of the lion represented the Babylonian kingdom the ruling empire when Daniel receives the visions, after that kingdom both the silver chest and the bear represent the Medes and Persians, the third kingdom represented by the bronze and the leopard represent the Hellenistic or Greek kingdom, and finally the fourth kingdom, the frightful and fearsome beast and the iron feet of the statue represent the Roman Empire which would be divided into several parts, thus representing at the end of time the feet of the statue mixed with mud and iron and the ten horns of the frightful and fearsome beast. History proves that about four hundred years after Christ the Roman Empire was dismembered in about ten separate kingdoms, the amazing thing about each point of comparison is that God knew the end from the beginning and gave it to the prophets so that when we saw this succession of events we could know that God is in control of history and times. What each prophecy wants to tell us is that God knows everything before and those who seek God have nothing to fear, since God already has a plan for his children, today do not be afraid of the future, trust in God knows his promises and understand that he is more powerful than any situation you may be living and in the end he will establish a perfect and eternal kingdom where there will be no more death or crying or pain or fear, for the first things happened and all are made new.
